Author Guidelines

Journal of Public Procurement and Applied Studies (JPPAS) is a peer-reviewed scholarly journal published by the Institute for Research and Community Service (LPPM) of Politeknik Pengadaan Nasional (POLTEKNAS). The journal serves as a platform for the publication and dissemination of original research, scholarly analyses, and community service outcomes. It aims to promote the advancement of knowledge and professional practice in public procurement, public policy, governance, law, public administration, and other related applied disciplines.

The scope of JPPAS includes, but is not limited to, studies on public procurement, public governance, public policy, public administration, public and private law, public management, community empowerment, sustainable development, public sector innovation, and other applied studies that contribute to the advancement of knowledge and professional practice. The journal welcomes original research articles, conceptual papers, case studies, and community service articles that demonstrate novelty and make meaningful scholarly contributions.

All submitted manuscripts must be original, unpublished, and not under consideration for publication in any other journal. Every submission undergoes an initial editorial screening followed by a rigorous double-blind peer review process conducted by qualified reviewers in the relevant fields to ensure the quality, objectivity, and academic integrity of the published articles.

JPPAS is committed to publishing high-quality scholarly works that contribute to the development of knowledge, particularly in the fields of public procurement and public governance. The journal is published biannually, with issues released in January and July, and adopts an open access policy to promote the broad dissemination of knowledge among academics, researchers, practitioners, and policymakers worldwide.
